Howlin' Moon
When my brother casually sent me a picture of two of his dogs giving the camera stank face, he had no idea how inspired I'd become. I knew immediately that I wanted to capture the fantastic attitude they were projecting...and what better way than through an album cover? I added a moonlit landscape, a parental advisory 'sticker', and some badass fashion and bling to round out the portrait. I have to say I've never had so much fun with a painting before!

This pet portrait series is an organic result of the fact that I can't help but paint the cutest subjects in my life. I'm definitely a cat person, but I love dogs, too, and I'm always excited to get a chance to capture their wonderful expressions and silly poses.
