A painting of an abandoned grain elevator on the bank of the Kansas River.

Kaw Point

The place where the Kansas (Kaw) River meets the Missouri River is called Kaw Point. This abandoned structure is just upriver on the Kaw, and I was truly taken by the way the blue graffiti and the red rust echoed the fall colors of the natural world around it.
