The Path
This one was a delight to create! I wanted a dark, spooky image in line with the upcoming Halloween season. Working from references of myself in costume as well as a walking path in wintertime, I experimented with using simple makeup sponges to apply the etheral layers of blue. I'm quite excited by the result!
- Medium: Pastels on 9"x12" sanded paper.

A lone figure in the night, seeking a path by whatever light is available. Spooky or inspiring? For me, it's a little of both, and seems to be an image I return to over and over.
